Two bar managers on Yugoslavia Street in the Gueliz district are expected to be presented before the Public Prosecutor at the Marrakech Court of First Instance on Monday morning, on suspicion of their involvement in serving alcohol to a person who died in a horrific traffic accident near the Tarqa roundabout last Tuesday night.
Judicial investigations conducted by the judicial police under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor revealed that the victim was at two bars in the Gueliz neighborhood on Yugoslavia Street. As he was leaving, he couldn't find a taxi to take him home. He then sought assistance from the bar manager and guards, who summoned an "Indriver" motorcycle to transport him before he was involved in a fatal traffic accident.
The investigations also led to the identification of the driver of the "Indriver" motorcycle that transported the deceased. He was arrested and placed under police custody, pending his appearance before the Public Prosecutor tomorrow morning.
