The Royal Gendarmerie successfully apprehended one of the suspects in a case involving aggravated burglary and assault on a villa guard in the Douar Bouzna, Akrad commune, Essaouira province, using a bladed weapon. This incident has alarmed residents and revived their demands for enhanced security protection.
This development coincided with another reported burglary at a villa in the area, which is suspected to have been carried out by the individual captured on surveillance cameras, according to the information obtained.
The developments come amidst demands from the residents of the Ait Hassan and Bouzma douars, belonging to the Akrad commune, for increased patrols and security interventions to protect property and curb the recurrence of burglaries.
