HIBAPRESS – Jerada
National Road No. 6, connecting Jerada and Taourirt, witnessed a serious traffic accident on Monday evening, October 19, at the level of the Kar Sifla roundabout, under the jurisdiction of the Ouled Rahou Hwarah commune in the province of Jerada. The accident resulted in injuries to a child between 6 and 7 years old.
The injured child, in critical condition, was transported by a civil protection ambulance to the emergency department of the Jerada Regional Hospital for medical examinations and necessary treatment.
Following the accident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie affiliated with the Jerada Territorial Center began their investigations to determine the circumstances and details of the incident, as well as to identify the vehicle responsible for the accident.
According to available information, the driver concerned left the scene of the accident immediately after it occurred, heading to an unknown destination in his vehicle. This has prompted the relevant authorities to intensify their investigations to identify him and clarify the circumstances of the incident, in preparation for determining the necessary legal responsibilities.
