HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
A group of citizens managed a short while before noon today, Tuesday, to thwart an attempted theft of two girls on Abdel Karim Al-Khatabi Street near the Marjane commercial center, by three individuals on a large-displacement Tmax motorcycle.
According to the newspaper's sources, the suspects ambushed two girls who were on the sidewalk, seizing their bags containing mobile phones and a laptop. However, one of the citizens intercepted them, causing them to fall off the motorcycle. Two fled, while the third individual was apprehended and the stolen items were recovered. He was then handed over to police officers stationed in front of the Marjane commercial center.
The arrested individual was handed over to the security department 14 in the Oisel district to complete the arrest report, identify the other individuals involved in the theft, and place him under police custody before presenting him to the Public Prosecution.
