Idriss Al-Azmi Al-Idrissi, head of the Justice and Development Party's parliamentary group in the House of Representatives, attacked the government's choices, emphasizing that his party will oppose all directions that it believes do not serve the interests of Moroccans, during his intervention in the session to discuss the government's policy statement.
Al-Azmi said, addressing the government members, that they should not seek refuge in the royal institution to justify their decisions, adding: "Do not hide behind His Majesty the King and tell us these are the King's directions."
The head of the Justice and Development Party's parliamentary group stressed that his party holds respect and appreciation for His Majesty the King, saying: "The King is above us and in our eyes." He added that his party will be vigilant against all government choices that it considers do not meet citizens' expectations and do not serve their interests, emphasizing that the opposition will continue to question the government about its decisions and directions in the coming period.
