HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
The regional secretariat of the Justice and Development Party (PJD) in Al Hoceima issued a statement to public opinion on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in response to what it described as "misrepresentations" circulating on some pages and websites, in connection with the preliminary ruling issued against S.L.
The party clarified that the individual in question has not held the position of local party secretary in the city of Beni Bouayach for years, stressing that this predates 2021, contrary to what is being circulated in some media and pages, according to the statement.
The regional secretariat warned against circulating data that, in its view, could harm the party's reputation, indicating that it reserves its right to resort to the judiciary against any page or website it deems to be slandering the party or targeting its reputation.
Regarding the circumstances of the judicial prosecution, the regional secretariat stated that it refrains from delving into the details of the case, out of respect for the judiciary and its standing, especially in light of a previous statement issued by S.L.'s family on the matter.
The party affirmed, in the same context, the necessity of keeping the judiciary away from any calculations or conflicts, to ensure, as it put it, the preservation of the prestige and status of the judicial institution.
The statement concluded with the signature of Mehdi Salehi, the regional secretary of the Justice and Development Party in the Al Hoceima province, who, through the document, emphasized the party's stance on the circulating information, calling for the case to be handled within the framework of respect for institutions and legal regulations.
