HIBAPRESS – Khalil Fizzazi
Acting on precise information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), the local judicial police unit in Tan-Tan city managed today to apprehend a young man suspected of adopting extremist ideology and allegiance to the "ISIS" terrorist organization.
Initial data obtained by HIBAPRESS indicates that the suspect had recently arrived in Tan-Tan to work on a project site dedicated to the development and preparations for the "Tan-Tan Season" events.
The apprehended individual is expected to undergo judicial investigation procedures before being referred to the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Rabat, responsible for terrorism cases in Salé. This is to uncover all circumstances and details of the case, and to identify any potential connections or presumed links of the suspect with the aforementioned terrorist organization.
This preemptive security operation is part of the continuous field strategy pursued by Moroccan security and intelligence services to monitor individuals indoctrinated with extremist ideologies, neutralize risks, and proactively counter threats targeting the security and stability of the Kingdom and its citizens.
