The General Directorate of Meteorology expects snowfall and heavy rainfall with the possibility of thunderstorms, from today, Friday, to tomorrow, Saturday, in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate clarified, in an orange alert, that snowfall (from 10 to 25 cm) is expected starting from altitudes of 2000 meters, in the provinces of Ouarzazate, Azilal, Midelt, Tinghir, and Al Haouz, from today, Friday, at six o'clock in the evening, to tomorrow, Saturday, at ten o'clock in the morning.
It added that heavy rainfall (from 20 to 40 mm) with the possibility of thunderstorms is also expected in the provinces of Tinghir, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Beni Mellal, and Midelt, from today, Friday, at six o'clock in the evening, to tomorrow, Saturday, at ten o'clock in the morning, as well as in the provinces of Errachidia, Boulemane, and Figuig, tomorrow, Saturday, from nine o'clock in the morning to six o'clock in the evening.
