The Moroccan Association of Automotive Industry and Assembly (AMICA) unveiled on Friday in Rabat, the outlines of the eighth edition of the International Exhibition of Industrial Competitiveness for the Automotive Sector "SCIA 2026", which is expected to be held between June 24 and 26 in Kenitra, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE).
This event is expected to attract about 300 exhibitors from Morocco and several countries, making it a prominent international platform that brings together various actors in the automotive industry, and a space to exchange experiences and explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment.
The exhibition aims to enhance industrial competitiveness and strengthen value chains in the sector, by supporting local subcontracting, promoting the integration of suppliers at various levels, in addition to encouraging the transfer of technology and the exchange of expertise between industrial actors. It also represents an opportunity to organize bilateral business meetings (B2B) between companies and suppliers.
The organization of this edition comes in the context of the dynamism witnessed by the automotive sector in Morocco, and aims to consolidate the Kingdom's position as a regional industrial hub, in line with the strategic orientations of the new development model, and the royal vision aimed at developing a competitive national industry with high added value.
The exhibition program also includes axes related to the shift towards sustainable mobility, especially electric cars and clean technologies, in addition to the growing trend towards integrating artificial intelligence in industrial operations.
The organizers aspire to make "SCIA 2026" a reference African platform in the automotive industry, capable of keeping pace with global transformations and enhancing Morocco's attractiveness for industrial investments.
