HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Fatima Zahra Al-Mansouri, the head of government, directed direct criticism to the Justice and Development Party (PJD), during her response to the interventions of parliamentary groups and caucuses in the context of discussing the government's statement in the House of Representatives.
Al-Mansouri said, in a message addressed to the party's MPs, that the discourse of victimhood that the PJD relied on in previous stages is no longer effective at the present time, adding in Moroccan Darija: "The discourse of victimhood that you succeeded with in the past is no longer useful now."
This statement comes in the context of a political debate within the legislative institution, against the backdrop of the opposition MPs' positions on the content of the government's statement, and the criticisms they directed at the government's directions and choices.
Al-Mansouri's statements reflected the intensity of the debate between the head of government and the representatives of the PJD, in a session that turned into a political confrontation regarding the outcome of previous government experiences and the nature of the discourse adopted by the party in criticizing the performance of the current government.
