Rescue teams, consisting of elements of the Civil Protection, the Royal Gendarmerie and the local authorities, were able, a short while ago this Tuesday morning, to find the body of the drowned child in the Ourika Valley at the level of the Douar of Aghbalou.
The discovery of the body came as a result of extensive combing operations that included all the banks and paths of the Setti Fatma Valley, operations that took place under the direct supervision of the commander of the Setti Fatma Command and the head of the Royal Gendarmerie center, with the effective field participation of elements of the Civil Protection and the Auxiliary Forces.
The details of the incident go back to last Sunday, when the child was swimming with a group of his friends before disappearing from view under mysterious circumstances, which opened the door to several hypotheses between drowning or disappearance, before the discovery of the body this morning resolved this painful tragedy.
