Ahmed Ouazrouti – HIBAPRESS
The Gabawi Club in Agadir hosted, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, the activities of the regional forum of the Unionist Youth of Agadir Idatanan, organized within the framework of the session of the late Unionist fighter Nozha Abakrim, under the slogan: "A Generation that Speaks Politics: For a Balanced and Committed Youth Electoral Action," with the participation of a number of party cadres and young actors.
The organization of this forum comes in a national context characterized by prominent political and diplomatic transformations, which requires the involvement of young people in keeping up with major national issues, foremost of which is the defense of territorial integrity, in addition to strengthening their presence in the political scene through modern and effective communication tools. The meeting is also part of an organizational dynamic aimed at qualifying young energies within the party and enabling them to use advocacy and influence mechanisms in the public debate. The forum was an opportunity to study the developments in political communication, especially in light of the rapid digital transformations, where the importance of possessing skills in producing digital content and managing electoral campaigns according to innovative approaches that combine the party's reference and the requirements of the times was emphasized. The forum's program was divided into a set of training workshops, which covered in their entirety issues of political communication and building electoral contracts, in addition to addressing the legal aspects related to digital publishing and media responsibility, as well as a practical workshop that focused on photography techniques, content creation, and crisis management in electoral contexts. The closing session was also a station for reciting the final statement and distributing training certificates to the participants, in addition to celebrating a number of party media platforms on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, and honoring journalist Abdel Latif Al-Kamel, in appreciation of his professional and struggle career. This forum aims to achieve a set of outcomes, including the formation of a specialized youth team in digital communication at the regional level, the preparation of a reference charter that frames digital media practice, in addition to raising the quality of the political discourse directed to young people and enhancing their abilities to manage communication crises. This meeting is expected to be an important organizational station in the path of the Unionist Youth in Agadir Idatanan, by consolidating a youth political culture based on awareness, commitment and innovation, which enhances its presence in the upcoming elections and contributes to the development of party work at the local and national levels.
