It is strange that some democratically elected representatives of local affairs… Their groups suffer from misfortune: thirst, poor infrastructure, widespread unemployment and idleness, while they dance joyfully, energetically and “Hit, Give It” to the tunes of music, festivals, parties and powder kegs… despite some of their positive aspects in creating popularity and revitalizing other seasonal occupations…
In a time of thirst and lack of water that weighs on many local authorities in our country, due to successive years of drought and the drying up of valleys, rivers, springs and some water sources, and given the economic situation and high prices. that weigh on the pockets of various social classes, many groups and regions compete to organize festivals with huge budgets, which weighs on the financial base of the latter, whose budgets were supposed to be programmed to develop villages and roads and create employment opportunities for young people. areas rich in these festivals…
The strangest thing is that many of those who carry the slogan of saving these festivals and celebrations and accuse these elected officials, and even reproach them for organizing them during these sensitive periods, (we find ourselves) dancing and “living in the moment”, at the first moment of their organization, and they themselves were. Before that, they fill the blue space with criticism, analysis and comments … how strange …
Yes, they hide behind the screens of their computers and mobile phones, and they dance, have fun, applaud and take souvenir photos with their favorite artists in reality and on the ground, in a way that reflects the duality of the selection criteria and expression of opinion…
A reality in which the local affairs officials of their groups are questioned about the degree of respect they give to their electoral programs announced during their electoral campaigns, while they sweat and beg for votes that could give them legitimacy to occupy the seats of responsibility…
The electoral platforms of that time were full of hope and signs of change. They all started from the same starting point and flowed into the same source, which worked for development and a happy life. At that time, their owners committed to “creating employment opportunities, fighting unemployment, repairing roads, paths, schools, clinics and the list goes on…”
Some of them stuck to their commitments despite coercion, and others disavowed, were forced and changed, and no longer cared about the concerns of citizens or the voices of positive saviors, so they “reversed the trend”…
Some of them rode waves other than the change they promised to God and their elected representatives during their campaigns. They therefore charted a new course for their administrative electoral journey with other priorities of a personal nature, and thus public interests were lost. ..what a shame…
