HIBAPRESS – Fez
The incident of a woman falling, on Tuesday afternoon, in front of the headquarters of the tenth security district on the road leading to Ain Ouaynat Al-Hajjaj, sparked a wave of widespread resentment among citizens, not only because of the recklessness of the small taxi driver, but also because of the delay recorded in the arrival of the ambulance, which doubled the suffering of the injured woman who remained lying on the ground under the scorching sun for a considerable time.
According to data obtained by the newspaper from eyewitnesses, the woman fell after the taxi suddenly started before she had fully disembarked, which caused her to be injured in the knee and unable to stand, amid a state of shock among passersby. Immediately after the accident, a number of citizens intervened to request assistance from the security elements of the tenth district, where a distinguished police chief quickly moved to the scene of the accident to check on the condition of the injured woman, and he also began his contacts to notify the competent authorities and coordinate for her transfer to receive the necessary treatments. In contrast, citizens expressed their astonishment at the delay in the arrival of the ambulance, considering that the time factor remains crucial in such cases, especially when it comes to injuries that may worsen due to the long wait and high temperatures. The citizens, once again, showed a great spirit of solidarity, after some of them rushed to bring a sun umbrella from one of the neighboring cafes to protect the injured woman from the sun's rays, while others gathered around her to provide support until the ambulance arrived.
