The elements of the Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie in the Soualem Tarifi area, belonging to the province of Berrechid, were able to dismantle a gang active in promoting drugs and prohibited substances in the region.
This security operation came after investigations and field monitoring initiated by the Gendarmerie services, which resulted in the arrest of a number of suspects and the seizure of a quantity of drugs prepared for promotion, in addition to equipment used in this illegal activity. These interventions fall within the ongoing security campaigns carried out by the Gendarmerie services to combat various forms of crime and trafficking in prohibited substances, especially in areas that are witnessing increased activity by promotion networks. The detainees have been placed under judicial investigation measures, by order of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to identify all possible extensions of this network and reveal the remaining perpetrators.
