HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed

As part of the parallel events of the regional exhibition of traditional industry held in the city of Oujda, the Regional Chamber of Traditional Industry of the Oriental region organized, today, Wednesday, May 13th, a specialized training session entitled "E-Marketing", to support the competitive capabilities of traditional craftsmen and modernize the mechanisms for displaying and marketing their products.

Experts from "Dar Al-Muqawil", which belongs to the Attijariwafa Bank group, supervised the framework of this training session, within the framework of the partnership aimed at supporting small enterprises and craft cooperatives. A significant number of exhibitors participating in the regional exhibition benefited from this workshop, who showed a strong desire to develop their digital skills. The training session focused on the mechanisms of transitioning the traditional product from the classic display to the digital space, and included axes on building a digital identity: how the craftsman highlights his brand on social media platforms; attractive display techniques: how to photograph and market traditional products in a modern style that attracts customers; e-sales management: ways to communicate with customers and manage remote sales operations; financial inclusion: the role of banking and digital services in facilitating commercial transactions for the self-employed and the artisan. The participants affirmed the importance of this type of initiative, considering that digital marketing is no longer just an option, but an urgent necessity to overcome geographical boundaries and reach the traditional industry of Oujda and the Eastern region to wider national and international markets, and this initiative comes to embody the Chamber's keenness to modernize the traditional industry sector, and to put technology at the service of originality, in a way that ensures the sustainability of manual professions and raises the income of the traditional craftsman. It is worth mentioning that the regional exhibition of traditional industry in Oujda continues to attract visitors and record record sales, in parallel with a program full of meetings and workshops that aim to promote this vital sector in the region.
