The Moroccan national team tied with its Tunisian counterpart with a score of one goal each, this Wednesday evening, within the first round of the group stage in the African Cup of Nations for under 17 years.
The Tunisian national team was the first to score in the 28th minute through the player Jleidi, before Iliane Hadidi managed to equalize in the 76th minute. The match witnessed some controversial refereeing situations, after the referee did not show a red card to a player of the Tunisian national team after a strong intervention on Ibrahim El Rabaj despite returning to video technology (VAR). The referee also refused to count two penalty kicks in favor of the Moroccan national team, despite the Moroccan side's objections to their validity, and the match ended with a draw that sparked a lot of controversy about the refereeing decisions.
