HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
In a move carrying clear organizational and political messages, the National Rally of Independents party opened its new headquarters in the city of Kenitra on Thursday morning, after a closure period that lasted for more than two years. This was attended by party leaders, elected officials, and activists from various regions of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region.
This political event witnessed the presence of the party president, Mohammed Chouki, along with a number of organizational and elected figures, including Saad Ben M'barek and Jawad Gharib, as well as heads of territorial communities and party activists in the Kenitra province. This meeting reflected the party's desire to regain its field presence and strengthen its organizational structures locally. During the communication meeting that followed the headquarters opening, Mohammed Chouki confirmed that the next stage requires strengthening proximity to citizens and listening to their concerns, noting that the party continues to implement its organizational vision at the local level within the framework of the political dynamics witnessed nationally. The meeting was not without political messages, after Chouki officially announced the nomination of Hatem Tahraoui as a candidate for the party in the Kenitra district, in a move that observers considered an early indication of the start of electoral preparations and the reordering of papers within the local political scene. Observers believe that the opening of the new headquarters goes beyond the organizational dimension, to reflect a trend towards rebuilding the party's political presence in the city of Kenitra, especially in light of the rapid movements the party arena is witnessing with the approach of the next election dates. According to sources who attended the meeting, the party leadership is preparing to continue its organizational tours immediately after the Kenitra event, by holding a communication meeting in the city of Souk El Arbaa El Gharb, which is expected to witness the announcement of the party's candidate for the Gharb district, within the framework of a political strategy aimed at early presence and the re-mobilization of the party's base in the province.
