The rider Abu Bakr Al-Othmani, son of the Moroccan community residing in France and originally from the city of Jerada, succeeded in leading his troupe to the finals of "Dar Es-Salam" for Tbourida arts, which is expected to be organized this year in the city of Bouznika, in a remarkable achievement that reflects the presence of the children of Moroccans around the world in preserving the authentic Moroccan heritage.
Abu Bakr Al-Othmani is one of the young faces who made their way in the world of traditional equestrianism despite his upbringing in France, where he remained connected to the customs and traditions of his original country, clinging to the sport of "Tbourida" which he grew up loving since his childhood, before deciding to experience leading the troupes and working to develop his level with knights from his region.
The troupe's qualification came after strong participations during the qualifying competitions, as it was able to attract attention with the harmony of its knights and the quality of the presentations offered, which gave it a pass to the Dar Es-Salam finals, which is considered the most prominent annual appointment for lovers of traditional equestrianism in Morocco.
This qualification confirms the position that the children of the Moroccan community have come to occupy in preserving the national cultural heritage, as a number of young people born in countries of the diaspora have been able to prove their deep connection to Morocco through their participation in heritage, artistic and sports activities related to Moroccan identity.
Followers also praised the great passion shown by the rider Abu Bakr Al-Othmani in his path within the world of Tbourida, considering that his success reflects the important role played by Moroccan families residing abroad in instilling the values of belonging and love of the homeland in their children.
