HIBAPRESS – Muhammad Zaryouh
In a qualitative operation that embodied the level of tight coordination between the security services, the anti-gang squad in Nador, in close cooperation with the Royal Gendarmerie services, managed to arrest a 21-year-old young man.
This arrest came after the suspect had been a prominent target of justice, and five national search warrants had been issued against him for suspected involvement in multiple and separate criminal activities. Technical investigations and intensive field investigations resulted in precisely monitoring the hiding place of the wanted person inside a house in the village of "Ahbouchanah", belonging to the commune of Bni Bouayferour, in the Nador region; where the security services launched a surprise and coordinated raid that completely paralyzed his movement, and the arrest operation was carried out successfully and without recording any danger or resistance. The precise inspection operations of the scene led to the seizure of a "criminal warehouse" that included equipment and logistical means suspected of being used for suspicious purposes; where the seizures included a light vehicle and a large-sized motorcycle with forged license plates, a white weapon, a tear gas canister, and two masks to hide the features, in addition to mobile phones, an electronic scale, and a group of various car registration plates. The process of questioning the detainee with the national security data showed that he was being prosecuted by the Al-Arwi Commission, the Royal Gendarmerie, and the Judicial Police in Nador, for his alleged involvement in serious cases including aggravated theft, trafficking in hard drugs, and forgery; he will be held under a custody order pending the investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor's office to reveal the extensions of this criminal activity.
