HIBAPRESS
The Sidi Bouzid region is experiencing a widespread controversy following an incident that caused great displeasure among the residents, after the pharmacist and activist Samira was surprised by a woman removing the advertising slogans of her pharmacy, in addition to cutting off her electricity, which caused her financial losses due to the loss of a number of medications kept in the refrigerator.
According to local sources, the person in question does not hold any legal or administrative status that allows her to interfere with private property or make decisions that affect a pharmacy institution. In this regard, a number of citizens expressed their astonishment at the incident, considering that such actions are detrimental to the principle of the rule of law and open the door to practices that may be understood as "a violation of the law", and demanding the necessity of respecting legal procedures in addressing any potential disputes. In a related context, local voices called for the opening of an urgent investigation by the competent authorities, in order to reveal the circumstances of the incident and arrange for legal responsibilities, while emphasizing the need to protect private health facilities from any unjustified assault or disruption.
