HIBAPRESS
The National Security Open Days organized in the city of Rabat witnessed a large turnout from citizens, especially with the arrival of the weekend, as significant numbers of visitors flocked to the various halls and spaces of the event to learn about the tasks and areas of work of the various National Security services.
This event saw wide interaction from various age groups, in an atmosphere marked by entertainment, awareness, and direct communication between citizens and security personnel, through field demonstrations, introductory workshops, and modern techniques that showcase a part of the efforts exerted by the National Security services to enhance security and serve citizens. In light of this large turnout, the Directorate had decided to extend the Open Days for two additional days, to include Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24, 2026, in response to the increasing requests received by the organizing parties in order to enable the largest number of citizens to visit the event space during the weekend. This extension reflects the great success achieved by this communication initiative, which aims to strengthen the policy of proximity and openness, and to strengthen the bridges of trust between the security institution and citizens, by bringing visitors closer to the various tasks, equipment, and security specializations.
