HIBAPRESS – Ashtouka
The Royal Gendarmerie elements in Ashtouka Ait Baha, in coordination with the Biougra motorcycle squad, foiled, on Saturday, a smuggling attempt of a quantity of hashish amounting to about 17 kilograms, which was securely hidden inside a light vehicle coming from Ketama, with the arrest of two people, one of whom has a criminal record.
The suspects were placed in custody by order of the Public Prosecution, as part of an in-depth investigation to uncover the rest of those involved, while this operation falls within the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking networks in the region.
