HIBAPRESS – Canada
The "Anir" Association for Moroccans in Canada is preparing to organize a major artistic evening to celebrate Eid al-Adha, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in a distinctive cultural initiative that aims to strengthen human and cultural ties between members of the Moroccan community residing in Canada and their homeland, and to consolidate the values of belonging to the authentic Moroccan identity among Moroccans in the diaspora.
This event will feature the participation of a selection of artists and musical groups who have made their mark on the Moroccan art scene, including the artist Abdullah Al-Shar', the Imdizn group, the artist Ibrahim Iznkad, and the artist Aisha Dakalia, in addition to the Aissawa troupe. The audience will have a free appointment with various artistic segments that blend popular music, Amazigh song, and authentic Moroccan heritage rhythms. The task of hosting this evening has also been assigned to the journalist Khadija Bouzidi, who will add a professional media touch to the event. This initiative was not limited to the artistic side only, but the association paid special attention to the cultural and heritage dimension, by organizing an art and cultural exhibition on the sidelines of the evening, documenting the heritage of "Bilmaoun" and the reality of rural Moroccan women, through photographs and artistic artifacts created by the lens of the media professional Ibrahim Fadil, who has accumulated significant experience in the field of photography through his participation and organization of a number of exhibitions inside and outside Morocco. The organization of this activity comes within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the "Anir" Association in order to strengthen the bonds of communication between Moroccans around the world and their homeland, especially during religious and national occasions, which represent an opportunity to recall authentic Moroccan social values, and to strengthen ties of kinship and family cohesion within the Moroccan community abroad.
