Yesterday Tuesday, after a surveillance operation, National Security agents in Guersif managed to impound a Mercedes car after a chase on a dirt road in the community of Guersif.
The website learned from its own sources that this operation, carried out professionally by National Security agents, resulted in the seizure of a Mercedes car with counterfeit plates, a quantity described as “significant” of cocaine and a scale to measure the drug. In addition to the sums of money collected through the operation, promotion of prohibited objects and bladed weapons that threaten the safety of citizens.
The detainees were transferred to the security zone headquarters and a thorough investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to identify the perpetrators.
This operation is part of the efforts undertaken by the Regional District of National Security under the leadership of Mr. Youssef Zariouh, with a view to combating all security impurities and drug trafficking with all the territorial influence of the Guersif group.
