HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The Al-Mohammadi district in the city of Casablanca announced that all its neighborhood football pitches are open for free to various teams, especially for children and youth, with the aim of enabling them to benefit from the available sports facilities in the area.
The district confirmed that the use of neighborhood pitches for financial gain is prohibited, stressing that access to them and benefiting from their services does not require any financial payment from teams and beneficiaries.
It clarified that the staff managing these pitches are employees of the district and are paid by it, and therefore they have no right to demand any sums from beneficiaries for using the pitches.
The district called on citizens and sports teams to report any instance where a financial payment is requested or they are prevented from using the neighborhood pitches, so that necessary measures can be taken regarding it.
