A scene that surprised many residents occurred yesterday in the Shams Al Madina neighborhood of Ben Slimane city, after an elderly woman holding French nationality was found sitting in the street since the morning hours, with luggage, clothes, and two bags.
According to the information circulating about the incident, the woman had met a young man in the city of Mohammedia, before accompanying him to the city of Ben Slimane, where she spent the night at his home.
The same information adds that the young man, after realizing in the morning that she was elderly and poor, asked her to leave the house under the pretext of fetching a bottle of water, before he took out her belongings and closed the door, leaving her in the street all day.
In response to the woman's continued presence in the street, several residents informed the police, who attended the scene and spoke with her, before verifying her identity, which revealed she had come from France.
Information related to the incident was also gathered, and the woman stated, according to the circulated account, that she intends to pursue legal action against the individuals she claims caused her situation.
