The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Sunday, the continuation of hot weather over the northern and central plains, the Souss region, the southeast of the country, as well as the east of the Saharan provinces, alongside the formation of low clouds accompanied by foggy patches or very light and localized rains over the northern and central coasts.
The directorate also indicated that thunder showers will be observed over the Atlas Mountains, its western regions, and also over the Phosphate plateaus. The east of the Saharan provinces will also witness scattered raindrops accompanied by thunder.
Strong winds are also expected in the Tangier region and the Saharan provinces, with a chance of localized dust.
Regarding minimum temperatures, they will range between 16 and 22 degrees over the Atlas Mountains, the western Saharan provinces, and near the coasts. They will be between 24 and 30 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom, while daytime temperatures will rise over most of the country.
