HIBAPRESS – Sidi Allal El Bahraoui
The residents of Al-Manzah neighborhood in the city of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui are experiencing growing fears due to the absence of a pedestrian crossing and traffic signs for student protection, especially on the national road that a number of children are forced to cross daily to reach their educational institutions.
Students, particularly during school entry and exit times, find themselves facing difficulty crossing the road in the absence of a clear pedestrian crossing or signs alerting drivers to the presence of students and pedestrians in the area. The residents consider this situation a source of concern, given the traffic flow on the road, and are calling on the concerned authorities to intervene urgently to establish a pedestrian crossing and equip the area with appropriate traffic signs, ensuring the safety of students and road users. The residents also called for this demand to be treated as a necessary preventive measure to avoid any accident that could have dire consequences, especially since it concerns children who cross the road daily on their way to school.
