Aziz Akhannouch, a prominent leader in the National Rally of Independents party, called on his party's activists not to set prior red lines regarding political alliances, emphasizing that managing the next phase should be based on realism, openness, and the election results.
Akhannouch said, during a party gathering on Thursday evening in Mediouna, attended by 10,000 people, that the National Rally of Independents should deal with the issue of alliances flexibly, without entering the election phase with pre-determined stances that definitively identify parties with whom alliances can or cannot be formed.
The head of the Independents party stressed that the priority should be the election results and the trust that voters give to political parties, before moving to the stage of forming the government majority.
In this context, Akhannouch warned against repeating the experience of those who tried to form the government alone, referring to the belief that it is possible to manage the government without the need for political alliances, saying that those who tried to do so "failed miserably."
He affirmed that forming governments in the Moroccan political system requires building alliances capable of ensuring harmony and stability, pointing out that the elections will determine the balance of power, and that dealing with their results must be done with political realism.
