A number of social media users have shared a humanitarian appeal highlighting the situation of an elderly woman named Hasbiya, around 80 years old, who lives in a cave in the Rkrakra region, affiliated with the Ghiath community in the Safi province.
According to a video clip, the elderly woman resides in difficult living conditions, in the absence of several basic necessities for a decent life, such as water and electricity. The cave has become her shelter in a situation that has garnered sympathy from many citizens and prompted calls for attention to her condition.
The same information indicates that the cave is located within an area containing abandoned buildings, while the social and family circumstances that led the elderly woman to this situation are not yet fully clear.
Faced with this situation, calls are rising for the intervention of the relevant authorities to assess the elderly woman's situation on the ground, verify her needs, and provide her with the necessary social assistance and care, ensuring her living conditions preserve her dignity.
