HIBAPRESS – Fez
Hamid Shabbi, a former leader of the Independence Party, directed criticism at the current Secretary-General of the party, Nizar Baraka, considering that his ascent to the organization's leadership was not achieved, according to his statement, within a framework of genuine democracy.
Shabbi stated that Nizar Baraka "came without democracy," criticizing the management of the party's affairs during the current phase, and simultaneously raising the issue of the Independence Party's assets and the situation related to their management. Shabbi questioned the fate of the party's assets, indicating that their value, according to his estimates, reaches about 10 billion centimes, and demanded clarifications on how these assets are managed and the financial and real estate situation of the party. Shabbi's statements come in the context of continuous criticism directed at the leadership of the Independence Party, at a time when discussions are being raised about the governance of political parties and the management of their resources and assets. Accusations related to the sale or disposal of the party's assets, as stated by Hamid Shabbi, remain clear political stances that require documentation and official data from the concerned authorities to determine the truth of the transactions, their value, and the fate of their proceeds.
