The community of Sebt Jzoula in the province of Safi witnessed a tragic traffic accident yesterday evening, Sunday, following the collision of two motorcycles carrying four people. The incident occurred on National Road No. 1, near the local stadium in the olive grove neighborhood.
According to local sources, the accident resulted in four people sustaining injuries of varying severity. Subsequently, three of them were confirmed dead, while the fourth injured person remains in critical condition at the Mohammed V Provincial Hospital in Safi, where they are receiving treatment and medical monitoring.
Upon being notified of the accident, civil defense elements arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the emergency department of the Mohammed V Provincial Hospital in Safi to receive necessary first aid and medical care.
Concurrently, the Royal Gendarmerie initiated the standard legal procedures. The bodies of the three victims were transferred to the morgue, awaiting the completion of investigations that are being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution.
