HIBAPRESS – Rabat
After casting his vote on Wednesday for the legislative elections, Abdel Latif Wahbi, a leader in the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), stated that what is most important to him is not linked to the party that achieves victory, but rather to the success of the democratic process.
Wahbi said, in a statement following his participation in the voting process, that the outcome of the ballot remains part of the democratic process, adding that what concerns him primarily is that the elections take place in an atmosphere that reflects the will of the citizens and solidifies democratic practice.
Wahbi is participating in these legislative elections as the head of the Authenticity and Modernity Party list in the Taroudant North constituency, a constituency he previously represented parliamentarily in previous elections.
The voting process continues today, Wednesday, across the Kingdom. After the polling stations close, the counting and tallying of votes will begin before the results are announced according to the applicable legal procedures.
