The initial results of the legislative elections in the Settat constituency showed Larbi Cheriaai, the candidate of the Justice and Equity Party (Al-Insaf) which bears the symbol "Apple", topping the vote count after obtaining more than ten thousand votes, according to the provisional data following the ballot counting.
According to the provisional results, Cheriaai managed to achieve a comfortable lead over his competitors, granting the Justice and Equity Party a parliamentary seat for the Settat constituency, pending the completion of vote counting, tallying, and the compilation of reports from the various polling stations.
This result comes in the context of the continuous announcement of preliminary results in various electoral constituencies, amid ongoing data compilation from polling stations and their comparison with official records.
