Jamal Al-Asri, the Secretary-General of the Unified Socialist Party, stated that the Left Alliance has managed, so far, to win four parliamentary seats, according to preliminary results received from a number of electoral districts.
Al-Asri explained that the alliance is awaiting the rest of the results, expressing his expectation of winning more seats as vote counting and report compilation continues and results are gradually announced.
Al-Asri's statements come at a time when political parties are continuing to receive preliminary data from various polling stations, while the counting and tabulation process has not yet been completed in a number of districts.
The tally announced by Al-Asri remains temporary, pending the completion of counting operations, report compilation, and the approval of final results by the competent authorities.
