HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The Popular Movement party confirmed, on Wednesday evening, that 18 of its candidates have secured parliamentary seats in a number of electoral districts, according to preliminary results obtained by the party leadership, concurrently with the ongoing vote counting and tallying of minutes.
The party explained that this outcome remains provisional, as the central headquarters continues to receive results from various regions, noting that the counting process has not yet been completed in a number of polling stations, leaving the door open for an increase in the number of seats secured by its candidates.
These figures come at a time when various party headquarters are experiencing anticipation, with the sequential arrival of preliminary results from polling stations, while specialized committees continue to compile minutes and verify the recorded results.
The outcome announced by the Popular Movement remains non-final, pending the completion of vote counting, the compilation of all minutes, and the official approval of the results by the competent authorities.
