HIBAPRESS – Taounate
The Idris I Dam in the province of Taounate has recorded a remarkable improvement in its filling rate, which currently stands at 74 percent, with a water volume estimated at approximately 804 million cubic meters, according to data published on the "Our Water" platform.
The same figures reveal a significant increase compared to the same period last year, when the dam's filling rate did not exceed 35 percent, reflecting an improvement in the water reserves at this water facility located in the province of Taounate.
This development comes in the context of monitoring the situation of water resources in the Kingdom, given the importance of the Idris I Dam in water management in the region, whether to meet the needs related to agricultural activities or to enhance water reserves, pending what future data will reveal about the development of its capacity.
