The Constitutional Union Party has expressed its readiness to participate in the consultations related to the formation of the next government, following the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) topping the legislative election results, according to statements by party leader Hussein Abiyaba.
Abiyaba stated that his party is ready to consult with the new government that will be led by the Authenticity and Modernity Party, emphasizing that he sees no obstacle to the Constitutional Union contributing to the next government, should this be raised within the consultations for forming the majority.
These statements come in the context of the beginning of discussions about possible alliances to form the government, following the announcement of the election results and PAM topping them, pending the appointment of the Prime Minister and the start of official consultations with various parties.
The shape and composition of the next government majority remain subject to the political consultations that will commence after the Prime Minister's appointment, while parties continue to define their positions on the possibility of participating in the new government coalition.
