The Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party, Abdelilah Benkirane, announced that his personal conviction is decided regarding joining the government.
Benkirane said that he does not support the participation of the Justice and Development Party in a government led by the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), considering that the next government will be, in his estimation, "doubtful."
The Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party linked his position to what he described as "fraudulent operations carried out by partisan entities," considering that this makes the electoral victory of the Authenticity and Modernity Party questionable.
Benkirane added that he believes that the government that PAM will lead "will not succeed," adding that PAM "is not an ordinary party but a dangerous party," in his words.
In light of this vision, Benkirane called for the Justice and Development Party to continue in the opposition, with "the necessary strength" in the future.
