Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party, considered that his party achieved a victory in the legislative elections, affirming that "the true and great winner in the elections is the Justice and Development Party."
Benkirane said, in a statement following the announcement of the results, that the party thanks God for the outcome it achieved, although it was looking forward to better results.
He added that the Justice and Development Party has dominated the political and parliamentary scene in recent years, in addition to its presence in the electoral arena, considering that the current results represent an occasion for the party to celebrate its achievements.
In this context, Benkirane said: "We have won the elections, and it is our right to rejoice in this victory," adding that "the battle is not over, but has begun."
