Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party, raised a number of observations regarding the final hours before the announcement of the legislative election results, pointing to what he described as "interference" that accompanied that stage.
Benkirane said that the party has not, according to what he stated, received the minutes from some polling stations, pointing to the party not being allowed to view them. He also spoke about the delay in the press conference held by the Minister of Interior to announce the results.
The Secretary-General of Justice and Development revealed that he contacted the Minister of Interior after the announcement of the results, explaining that he spoke with him about the minutes that the party had not received, in addition to the situation of a party candidate in Chichaoua. He added that the Minister of Interior informed him that the current results are not final.
