HIBAPRESS-Jerada
The city of Jerada witnessed a protest this morning organized by students of Al-Bahatri High School, from the second year of Baccalaureate in both Arts and Sciences streams, in front of the prefecture of Jerada province, in protest against the decision to transfer them to Al-Zarqtoune Preparatory High School.
The students chose to express their position collectively, demanding the reversal of the transfer decision or the finding of a solution that takes into account their academic circumstances, especially as they are in a crucial academic year related to preparation for passing the Baccalaureate exams.
This protest comes at a time when the decision to transfer final year students from one high school to another raises a number of questions among those concerned and their parents, especially regarding the impact of changing the institution on the students' academic and educational stability during this stage.
The protesters raised their demands in front of the prefecture, awaiting the intervention of the concerned authorities to open dialogue with them and listen to their justifications, allowing for a solution that considers the best interests of the students and the continuity of their academic path in suitable conditions.
The issue of Al-Bahatri students remains the focus of the protest, pending the outcomes of communications and interventions related to this file in the coming hours.
