HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Zerouih
HIBAPRESS learned from special sources that the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party appointed, on Monday, September 28, 2026, Rafik Majaiet as the regional secretary of the party in the Nador province, succeeding Mohamed El Mahmoudi.
This decisive decision ends a period of anticipation and speculation about the fate of the regional secretariat of the "Tractor" party, announcing the beginning of a new organizational phase within one of the most politically complex provinces in the Oriental region.
This change at the head of the regional organization of the "PAM" in Nador falls within the framework of attempts to rearrange the party's structures following the recent electoral contests and the new data they have produced at the local political scene level. However, this step comes amidst complex organizational conditions that require resolving differences and controlling the party's internal rhythm to deal with the new political map in the province.
In this regard, informed sources revealed behind-the-scenes charged with hidden clashes and conflicts between several factions within the party leadership at the regional and provincial levels. The sources confirm that influential parties and leaders in the region are trying by all means to control the keys to party decisions and dominate the reins of organization in the province, which has made the organizational decision a scene for escalating factional tug-of-war and blocs in secret.
In light of this charged organizational atmosphere, the regional organization faces a real test related to its ability to open a new organizational phase that overcomes internal tensions, works on arranging the internal house, and strengthens the formal and stalled coordination between structures and elected officials, in addition to trying to enhance the party's presence in the various territorial communities belonging to the province.
Observers of the political affairs in Nador believe that the new appointment puts the regional leadership before a difficult test of responsibility in leading the organization during the next phase, especially since the political arena in the province is witnessing rapid transformations and repositioning of a number of political actors after the recent legislative elections, at a time when the party's unity remains hostage to the ability to contain conflicts and stop the bleeding of internal clashes.
