Authorities in northeastern France have arrested a 16-year-old teenager who had planned an attack on his school.
The French newspaper "Le Figaro" reported on Tuesday, citing the local public prosecutor's office, that the teenager was taken into custody on Monday after issuing threats to carry out an attack at a high school in the municipality of "Saint-Louis". The reasons for the arrest include issuing written threats to commit a "serious crime," along with charges of "glorifying terrorism" and "criminal conspiracy" with the aim of preparing for a terrorist attack. The public prosecutor's office did not disclose the content of the message written by the teenager, nor did it clarify whether there was concrete evidence confirming the existence of an actual attack plot being prepared.
