The Regional Committee for Vigilance and Monitoring of the Health and Epidemiological Situation in the province of Shtouka Aït Baha continues its periodic meetings, under the effective presidency of the province's governor, and with the participation of various relevant external departments, local authorities, and security services, in order to monitor the epidemiological situation and strengthen preventive measures, especially in educational institutions.
Field interventions include extensive vaccination campaigns and the completion of necessary doses, alongside continuous monitoring of health status and on-the-ground epidemiological situation tracking. Awareness and sensitization campaigns about the symptoms and risks of diphtheria are also being intensified, along with information on the treatment protocol adopted at health institutions.
A set of precautionary and proactive measures have also been taken within educational institutions and other concerned spaces, while health institutions in various communes of the province continue their vigilance and readiness, with the aim of ensuring rapid intervention and care for potential cases, protecting students, and enhancing health prevention in the province.
