Moroccan artist Latifa Raafat congratulated Fatima Zahra Mansouri on her appointment by King Mohammed VI as Head of Government and her mandate to form the new government.
Raafat said, in a post published on her Facebook page, that Mansouri's appointment constitutes "a prominent milestone in the history of Morocco," as she is the first woman to assume the position of head of government. She considered the step to reflect the presence of Moroccan women in positions of responsibility and decision-making, and to consolidate a path towards strengthening their participation in public affairs management.
The Moroccan artist expressed her hope that the country will witness further prosperity and progress in the new phase, wishing for the achievement of what she described as all that King Mohammed VI wishes for Morocco and the Moroccan people.
