Political reactions and interpretations continue to intersect and flow into the electoral and political scene in our country since the end of the legislative elections until the appointment of the Prime Minister from the leading party, in accordance with the spirit of the constitution.
Following the concluded governmental term of Aziz Akhannouch, attention turned to the governmental leadership with a "feminine touch," represented by Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, a leader in the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), who earned the trust of His Majesty the King in an official reception, thus becoming the first Moroccan woman to receive this royal trust to manage public affairs and represent Morocco at the governmental level among international governments.
It is a heavy responsibility and an honor at the same time, as El Mansouri stated here and there. Subsequently, her party issued an official statement in an extraordinary meeting, appreciating the royal appointment of Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri as head of the post-legislative election government of September 23rd. The Authenticity and Modernity Party considered this appointment a reflection of the party's standing among many segments of society, embodying their desire for change, and granting them the legitimacy to fulfill their promises.
The Authenticity and Modernity Party considered El Mansouri's appointment a victory for Moroccan women and their pivotal role within society. The appointment decision also reflects the great efforts that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, dedicates to Moroccan women, his strong desire, may God support him, for their progress, improvement of their conditions, and enhancement of their status within society. It also affirmed the option of extending the hand of dialogue to all political spectrums, not only to form a cohesive and strong governmental majority as soon as possible, but for responsible national engagement from our various positions, whether in the majority or opposition, in the collective construction of the future Morocco with its diverse internal and external challenges.
The "PAM" party added that the royal trust in Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri establishes a qualitative milestone in our country's democratic path. This is an acknowledgment of the struggle of all Moroccan women and a deserved culmination of El Mansouri's long struggle within the national political arena, her high commitment to the party's project, and her staunch defense of its principles and values. It is also a resounding success for all female and male militants of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, and all those who sympathize with it.
