The Directorate General of Meteorology expects, for today, Thursday, that the weather will remain relatively hot in the interior of the Gharb and Souss regions, the Tadla and Rahamna plains, and the southeastern part of the country, and hot in the Saharan provinces.
During the night and morning, low clouds will be observed, accompanied by fog or very light rain over the Atlantic Ocean coasts and plains, in addition to the Mediterranean front. Thunder showers are also expected over the High and Middle Atlas mountains and their eastern slopes, the eastern part of the country, and the Rif. The Directorate also expects moderate to somewhat strong gusts of wind in the central coasts and Saharan provinces, with local dust. Minimum temperatures will range between 07 and 12 degrees in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 22 and 27 degrees in the Saharan provinces, and will be between 16 and 22 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. Daytime temperatures will see a slight decrease in most parts of the country. The sea will be calm on the Mediterranean front, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough between Mehdiya and Ras Ghir. It will become rough to very rough in the afternoon and slightly rough to rough on the other coasts.
