The industrial zone in Agadir witnessed a state of alert among the city's authorities this Sunday afternoon, following the outbreak of a fire in one of the factories, with flames rising intensely.
Upon being notified of the incident, civil defense elements and local authorities rushed to the scene, where they began intervention operations to contain the fire and prevent its spread to other parts of the factory and neighboring facilities, before managing to control and extinguish it.
The full causes that led to the outbreak of the fire have not yet been clarified, nor have official data been provided regarding the extent of material losses or the registration of injuries, pending the results of the assessments and investigations initiated by the competent authorities.
